Your First Visit
WHAT TO EXPECT
At your first visit, one of our highly qualified dentists will do a full evaluation of your teeth, gums, and mouth. We take the time to get to know you and your family so our team can answer any questions you might have about your dental care. We will also take digital X-rays at your first appointment. This allows us to see what is happening behind the scenes and detect if there are any problems not visible in a general dental evaluation. If necessary, your dentist may also do a dental cone-beam computed tomography (CT) scan. This is a special type of X-ray that produces 3D images of your teeth, including the soft tissue, bone, and nerves. At your first visit, one of our dental hygienists will also professionally clean your teeth unless an evaluation reveals that you’ll need a more in-depth cleaning. Don’t forget to bring along your completed new patient forms and your insurance card to your first appointment.

Same Day Crowns
FAST AND CONVENIENT
If you have a damaged, cracked, or broken tooth and need a crown fast, Hite Family Dentistry offers a same day CEREC (chairside economical restoration of esthetic ceramics) crown service. We design, customize, and create these crowns using computer-assisted technology. Traditional crowns require two visits to the dental office, but with CEREC technology, we can create and fit your new crown in a single visit. This is just one example of how our practice is using the latest in dental technology to improve your patient experience.
